Stuffed Mushrooms

This is a great recipe as a snack, an appetizer or a main dish. It can be served hot or cold and is completely delicious. Well, we think so anyway.

  • Ingredients:
  • 28 large white or small Portabella mushrooms (make sure that you have a wide enough cap for stuffing).
  • 1lb Italian Sausage ground
  • 1 Tsp Worcester sauce
  • 2 Tbs. Fresh Parmesan cheese
  • 1 Large Egg Yolk
  • 2 Cloves garlic
  • Handful of Fresh Basil

Instructions:

  1. Crush garlic, chop basil and hand mix all stuffing ingredients (except the Parmesan cheese) together in a bowl
  2. Wash mushrooms, pat dry and set aside
  3. Oil baking sheet. Preheat oven to 350º
  4. Heap topping on each mushroom, push finger through topping to create air vent
  5. Place stuffed mushroom on top of baking sheet
  6. Sprinkle cheese on the top of each mushroom
  7. Cook for 25 minutes until mushrooms are tender and filling is browned
