Stuffed Mushrooms
This is a great recipe as a snack, an appetizer or a main dish. It can be served hot or cold and is completely delicious. Well, we think so anyway.
- Ingredients:
- 28 large white or small Portabella mushrooms (make sure that you have a wide enough cap for stuffing).
- 1lb Italian Sausage ground
- 1 Tsp Worcester sauce
- 2 Tbs. Fresh Parmesan cheese
- 1 Large Egg Yolk
- 2 Cloves garlic
- Handful of Fresh Basil
Instructions:
- Crush garlic, chop basil and hand mix all stuffing ingredients (except the Parmesan cheese) together in a bowl
- Wash mushrooms, pat dry and set aside
- Oil baking sheet. Preheat oven to 350º
- Heap topping on each mushroom, push finger through topping to create air vent
- Place stuffed mushroom on top of baking sheet
- Sprinkle cheese on the top of each mushroom
- Cook for 25 minutes until mushrooms are tender and filling is browned
