Do thinkThin® bars contain caffeine? Most of our thinkThin® bars contain less than 2 mg per serving of caffeine. Our Chocolate Espresso flavor does contain approximately 20 mg of caffeine from the coffee in the bar. Our Mixed Nuts Crunch bar is caffeine-free because it does not contain chocolate or any other caffeine containing ingredient. Back to Top
Are your bars gluten free? All of our products are gluten free. Back to Top
Are any of your bars free of chocolate? Our thinkThin® Crunch Mixed Nuts bar does not contain chocolate. Back to Top
Are your bars certified kosher? All thinkThin® bars are now kosher certified regular dairy by Kehilla Kosher. Back to Top

What are Net Carbs? How do you figure them out on your facts panel? We make it easier for you to calculate the net carbs in our bars. Our nutrition facts panel identify the breakdown of total carbs including dietary fiber, sugars, sugar alcohols and other carbs. The net carbs in thinkThin® are calculated by subtracting the non-effective ingredients from the total carbs. Examples of the non-effective ingredients include: sugar alcohol (maltitol), glycerin (carbs), and fiber. Back to Top
Can maltitol result in gastrointestinal issues or discomfort? Popular sugar alcohol sweeteners include maltitol. Maltitol sweeteners are made through a fermentation process of corn or sugar cane. They contain fewer calories than sweeteners like pure sugar and honey. Sensitivity to maltitol is individual. Back to Top
What is glycerin and what is it derived from? The glycerin we use is derived from plant sources. It is used as a humectant (an ingredient used to preserve the moisture content of the bar) and helps to maintain a soft texture in the core of the bars. Back to Top
Why do some of your bars contain palm kernel oil? Only our thinkThin® bars coated in dark chocolate contain palm kernel oil. Our thinkThin® Protein bars are sugar free, and there are currently no sugar free dark chocolate coatings without palm kernel oil available. Palm kernel oil allows for a delicious, chocolatey coating that remains solid at room temperature. Back to Top
