Santa Monica, Calif., November 28, 2011 – thinkThin® founder Lizanne Falsetto, to speak at the BroadsCircle 3rd Annual Philanthropy Forum: The legacy of Self-Made Women held at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles, CA on November 29, 2011. Falsetto will join a panel of women CEO’s including Jane Wurwand, Founder and Owner of dermalogica® and Beth Shaw, Founder and President of YogaFit® to discuss the role and effect of self made women who give back, and the importance of selecting philanthropic partnerships where corporate and brand missions align.
BroadsCircle was founded in 2008 to create an exclusive network of senior businesswomen in the Los Angeles area. Founder Darya Allen-Attair announced, “I am interested in exploring how self made women executives are particularly effective in aligning business strategies to social problems in a way that has revolutionized philanthropy”.

Presentation of the Founder’s Humanitarian Award was made in person by Barbara Streisand in a rare appearance to recognize her friend. Falsetto, a former international model was able to salute Donna Karan from the stage after a fashion show of Donna Karan’s 2012 Spring collection.
