There are some staples to be found in every house in Italy and certainly fresh parmesan is one of them. This distinctively tasting cheese keeps for a long time and usually wrapped in a light cloth and kept in a cool place. Delicious with many dishes, it can be used in a variety of formats – either fine or coarsely grated, shaved or sliced. Fabulous with pastas, dried meats, vegetables and fruit.
