Living Wellness: Travel Tips

Get out! And take us with you!

Whether in pursuit of adventure or the desire to learn something about another country, it’s history, people, climate, culture or cuisine, we feel that travel is almost always good for the mind, body and soul.

Our protein nutrition bars were created as portable nutrition so they are packed and ready to go wherever the notion takes you. Whenever we travel, we try to take some bars for the flight crew and for passengers around us. In these times of minimal in flight service a thinkThin® protein bar often makes the best traveling companion.

In the spirit of this belief in the “nourishment of travel” we will continue to look for things of interest that we can pass on to our thinkThin® community. We will feature new ideas as we have them. We are also anxious to know where in the world our bars travel. So let us know.

Here are some terrific links that the thinkThin® team wanted to share:

Planning

This is a great site with inspiration, encouragement and simple travel tips that make good practical sense. We think that your life will change forever. You go girl! wanderlustandlipstick.com

Destinations

Europe:

This is a very content rich site. Make tea and settle into this, the links go on an on. www.msnbc.msn.com

South America:

We particularly like the tab of highlights and itinerary options in the right hand section. Content rich site that is complex yet easy to navigate. www.allaboutsouthamericatravel.com

South Pacific:

Australia, New Zealand, French Polynesia, Pacific Islands: This site covers the whole world but we liked the section on South Pacific section. This is all about independent travel and free from any commercial alliance, this is a great resource for very usable information. www.travelindependent.info

Far East and South East Asia:

Views, inspiration and tips for traveling the world and how to get started. www.travmonkey.com

Capturing scenes with wonderful photography can ensure that a trip lasts a lifetime. We can thoroughly recommend the Lonely Planet’s Guide to Travel Photography, by Richard L’Anson.
