Spring Sundays with Family

Sunday is a day for family, food and laughter. Growing up, to be invited to our family Sunday meals was a complete honor. My mother and grandmother would start early in the morning picking fresh veggies and herbs from grandpa’s magnificent garden. The first course was a delicious antipasto platter, followed by homemade pasta with meatballs, and a third course of turkey or a hearty roast. The feast lasted all day!  Meatballs were my all-time favorite. Of course, meatballs traditionally are not gluten free, so I had to improvise. Below is my grandmother’s meatball recipe with a twist!
